This beautiful Victorian home was built at the turn of the century. In 1892, M.J. Dinsmore, Esq. sold the property to Lester Myers, a son in law to Mr. Dinsmore. A dwelling on this property was moved to the rear of the lot, and this home was built in 1903. In 1906 the home was sold to Edgar S. Swartz, a tailor, for $12,500! The property then was transferred in 1964 to the Dinsmore family where Dr. Harry H. Dinsmore, a well known general surgeon, and his wife raised their family. The current owner purchased the property in July of 2011 and thus... The Barclay B&B was born! We opened on September 16, 2011. Some updates have been completed, keeping the integrity and ambiance of the Victorian era.
We have six rooms available to rent. Rooms range in price from $125.00 - $165.00 plus applicable taxes. We offer rooms with full size beds, shared baths, queen bed and shared bath, or queen bed with private bath. Most rooms can accommodate an air mattress if needed.
